• Don’t try the jeans on in the store. Store mirrors simply lie. You are bound to get home and second-guess your choices. Hold the pants up to the point where you like the waistline to sit. Now, look at the rivets at the outer-corners of the front pockets. These should reach to the middle pint of your hip on each side of your body. Don’t worry about length. Most ready-to-wear jeans should be hemmed to fit you anyway.

If you are lacking space, storing these items can be a pain. The best route to go is to invest in plastic storage boxes that will fit under your bed. Depending on the width and length, you may be able to fit six to eight boxes underneath a king size bed, while a double bed may only fit four.
